Central Coast Center for Independent Living
Traumatic Brain Injury Lending Library
Policies and Procedures
- This Lending Library is self supporting- if a book is lost, stolen or damaged then it’s likely gone forever unless we can get it donated again.
- We request an initial one-time $5.00 registration fee to join the library- we put the money right into buying more materials.
- Borrowers need to be registered to receive services from CCCIL to take out from the library.
- Lending time period is 3 weeks and we will allow an additional renewal period if needed. You will need to call us at 757-2968 to renew your book.
- 1 item may be checked out at a time- this allows us to serve the maximum number of consumers.
- If you are requesting a title out of our Capitola or Soledad Office, please fill out this form, and allow 1 week for us to ship it from our Salinas Library.
- If you lose a title you won’t be able to check out another one until you replace the lost material.
- Most of our inventory was purchased via Half.com (which sells used books) so if we’re going to replace the title we start there. You may wish to get your own copy or donate a title to the lending library. THANKS!!
